The Story behind PP

Postivity Penguin or PP to his friends was originally intended as a good luck gift for Romanian tennis player, Miriam Bulgaru.

He travelled from the South Pole to Cluj Napoca to meet Miri but ahead of her opening round match at the Transylvania Open sadly she fell ill and could not compete.

PP moved to the UK and stayed in the care of Backhand Bobby they watched all of Miriam’s matches, always sending her his positive energy.

Eventually PP decided he would go to the French Open where Miri was playing in qualifying, again to offer himself as a good luck gift. However, PP had formed a strong bond in his new home in England and a shadow of himself was left behind.

PP and his Shadow Self travelled to Paris together to watch Miri play.

Miriam won an incredible rain interrupted match, taking it in a match tiebreak and PP stayed with her to give her his positive energy, a few months later she won her biggest tournament to date, a WTA 125 at home in Bucharest.

As for PP’s Shadow Self?

He still supports Miri in all her matches and he travels around the world supporting tennis tournaments, he even has his own Instagram account!
